Even though my GPA is 3.9+, are my chances for graduate school Shot?

I am a mathematics related major and my school requires that we take 4 required major classes that are more advanced. Last semester, I took one of the required classes but had to take a P/NP to save my gpa. This semester, I tried to take 2 of them again but now it appears I might have to do a P/NP again because of family related issues. Suppose for the next two semesters I got A's on the 4 required classes, would this affect my chances of graduate school even though my GPA will be 3.9? Basically, do graduate schools start looking down on you if you have taken 3 major related classes but had to take P/NP for some of them?

Grad schools in what? Grad programs closely related to your major will probably pay attention to your major-related upperlevel coursework; others may not care or even notice.

If you are applying to PhD programs, your letters of recommendation will arguably be more important than your transcript. Try not to let whatever is making you struggle with your coursework affect your letters of recommendation.
