Eww. APs start tommorow!

ap calc was easy

I think I passed calc, but I did not do as well as I was hoping. We did most of the ones from last year in class and I got 9 out of 9 on all of them, but that definately didn't happen on the ones today....
Multiple choice was easy though...

Now I get to review a year of bio which won't be that bad.
I do have a week to learn AP Econ though.

calculus was okay. I pretty much don't care much about APs anymore, I mean, since my french one started on monday, its been kind of the beginning of the end. we're already into a FABULOUS college. I just needed to pass calc so that I dont have to take any more math ever again, but other than that, english and govt shouldnt be bad everything should be fine.

If you guys are ever stressing about a test, or anything short lived for that matter, just think: if your life was a pie graph, this little eensy section of your life probably wouldnt even show up. it'd be an itty bitty slice. especially compared to big real things like doing things that make you feel alive and free. we're good.

calc was ok as long as i didnt do anything stupid ... which i tend to do a lot of... =P

whose ready for eng lit tomorrow?

Oh god, my teacher is going to kill me if I don't get at least a 3 on stupid Lit...I haven't prepared at all!

ahh Lit is soo ambiguous.

AP CALC BC: I actually think I passed, which speaks WONDERS about that exam. Math is my weakest subject. How I ended up in BC is probably a cruel joke.

I'm taking Lit tomorrow too. How are you guys studying for that thing? I didn't even bother to buy a prep book. All I did was skim over sample questions on CollegeBoard so I can have a heads-up for tomorrow. That pretty much sums up my studying.

I know. I'm ambitious.

how'd u guys do on the ap calc AB exam??
i thot the mc was pretty easy, but the free response was HARD!! they were NOTHING like all the previous ones, even number 1 was different! collegeboard decides to turn it up a notch this yr...great for me... :S

Can you guy post the grading scale for AP Cal. AB?
like how many multiple choice questions do we need to get correct in order to get a 3 or above and how many free-response question do we need to answer correctly?
Do we get partial credit for the free-response. If you don't knoiw the answer is it better to put down random answers or leave it blank?
(maybe you could get like 3 points????)

okay, AP Eng. Lit had to be the easiest AP test I've ever taken, very unexpected. I still probably didn't pass it though =(

the mc for eng. lit was pretty easy! The free response was eh. I didn't like the poem at all. Which book did you guys choose for the open response Q?

English Lit: easiest AP I've taken by far. The only preparation I did was look over sample problems on CollegeBoard and I'm pretty confident that I at least passed. I finished my essay 15 minutes early and had a nap.

I chose East of Eden by Steinbeck. I'm not a Steinbeck fan in general, but that's honestly one of my favorite books of all time. His description of the Salinas Valley in the first page was such an easy example for me to use. I would have been an idiot not to choose that novel.

I used Don Quixote, even though I've never read it. Most of my friends made up a book.

I loved loved the fact that they used both Oscar Wilde and part of Andrea del Sarto by Robert Browning. I think if they had used Donne, it would have been the perfect Lit test.

i used the english patient

mc was the best! i love the first poem in the mc. i hated that crap about imaginary icebergs.

ETS will cancel my scores now.

HAHA, Vi. You totally read my mind:
"Your green packet will be returned to you by your teacher within two days. Until then, DO NOT discuss the free response."

<3

I used Scarlett Letter. It was a good choice since I had a quote for it.

I loved the Oscar Wilde excerpt, too. It just made the test more pleasurable, but I agree with Krishna on the poem in the FR. That was just weird.

yeah Jennifer! I used Scarlet Letter too.

the first poem in the mc was so nice! I thought to myself "this is so easy" but then I got to the one about hunger and I changed my mind.

I used The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn...at the time that seemed to be the only one that really went with the prompt =/

yeah it definitely goes ... I couldn't remember anything that happened though. I'm just so glad its done.

1 down. 3 to go!
