Does anyone know of any introductory excel classes offered for undergraduates at Michigan? Thanks!
@businessminded There aren’t official classes (like classes you would be able to enroll in for credits and a grade), but there are workshops that will center around how to use Microsoft Excel. I don’t know where to specifically find them, but you can visit the Career Center at UM and ask about them, because they will for sure know.
I thought the business school offered a course that taught a lot of excel (although I doubt it is a pure excel course).
@hailbate is wrong, @yikesyikesyikes is basically right - TO 411 (a Ross elective) is a 100% pure Excel class. As currently constructed, the first half of the class is focused on basic Excel functionality (data tables, charts, formula construction, etc.) and the second half is all VBA. You also don’t have to be in Ross to take the class, although most students who take it are.
You can find the formal course description on the Ross course guide site.
@thepeanutmaster Oops sorry, wasn’t aware of that. Either way what I said is still valid in regards to the Excel workshop @businessminded if you are still interested in that.
