Exeter decision - got email

Accepted!!!!

congrats!!! I got your username aka waitlisted :(

I was sleeping (5:30 my time) and then my phone buzzed and now I’m sitting in my bath tub and I got accepted to Exeter!

@Athenarocks was exeter your top choice?

nice to see other squash players on the forum!

Hey sudlun, great minds think a like!

Waitlisted D:
Did everyone else get the whole ‘You are a talented student whom the Committee admires.’ ?

yuppppp thats what my waitlist email said

Sigh I’ll take this as a soft rejection. I’m not getting a package from Fedex either- so no bs for me!

@CellyZ you could still get off the waitlist, and Andover didn’t send packages until LATE last night. Have hope!

Hi I am a parent. Did the Exeter email come from Admit or from another user name? also could you see decision in Lionlinks? We didn’t receive an email, nor could we see anything on Lionlinks… So not sure what’s going on. We did receive the email in early Feb. saying that DC’s app is complete. This is annoying. Thanks for any info

I think the email goes to whatever email you provided as primary. Maybe check your son’s/your own personal email? Best of luck to you!

yeah, it came from admit@exeter.edu

Received Exeter acceptance on my daughter’s email at 6:42 a.m.

@Athenarocks @Silvertag - thanks and first CONGRATS! Truly happy for both of you.

Can one of you check your lionlinks account to see if decision is posted there? my work email has extremely high security so whatever the decision email is, it might have already been filtered out by the security rule. But not seeing any decision info on Lionlinks worries me. Did they not even review our app?

Accepted!!!

Thanks! I don’t see anything on lion links… I think its just an email. They have a ton of applicants to email, so it might be late. My guess is that its by alphabetical order, but I’m probably wrong. Good luck!

And congrats 20alison16!

Thank you so much!

Oh, and congrats to you, too!

@silverstag, thank you. Enjoy your big day! as a parent, I know the long journey for everyone who have come to this day; not only the applications, but also the hard work throughout your young life!

We are going to do something productive now, like getting up and having breakfast.
