Exeter Interview

Hey everybody! okay, so did anyone who had an interview AT EXETER (not phone, or alumni) get a thank-you-for-coming-nice-talking-to-you-please-keep-in-touch written note from your interviewer?

i had an interview a few weeks ago at exeter and i didnt receive one

I got one last year with her number

I posted a similar question last year, wondering whether Exeter's silence was SOP or if it meant my son was DOA. I'm not sure there was a conclusive answer, but there were several responses that said that Exeter basically had no touchy-feely mailings related to the application until around, oh, March 10. (There were also some exceptions where there were exchanges that I found to be standard with most other schools.) I'll try to see if I can dig it up and give you a link here inside of 20 minutes.

I got one from Choate last year (an email), so I think it just differs with schools.

i read the thread D'Yer, thanks. It seems like some people get stuff and others don't. Do you think they tag certain people to send stuff to?

I've been wondering about this. We received thank you notes from only three of the schools we have seen so far. I've decided that it probably has more to do with personality/and how busy they are than a like/dislike of my son. I emailed all of them to thank them and they all responded to my email.

i got one and did not get accepted from exeter

i think it really depends on who interviewed you and how busy they are

I didnt get one :)

funny thread. i had a similar worry about deerfield but was happy to get a christmas card signed by my interviewer today. that is one less worry.
