@petrich0r Both our sons swam and played water polo while at PEA. They didn’t find swimming to be any more intensive of a time commitment then many other sports they or our daughters played while at PEA. The great thing about the academic schedule is that unlike many other places, you may have breaks built into your day, so if you use your time well, you can swim and be a great student. As far as varsity goes, it really depends on the year. Overall, they always seem to have a competitive team, so if your times are within range you’re I’ll be fine.
@vegas1 That’s great to hear! Nice to know that the school schedules the practices with enough time left over for homework.
Exeter Mom to a prep in the class of 2023!
Congratulations to all those who made it through!
Welcome to EXETER!!! Wooo hooo!
@MariFeigh So happy for your family! Congrats on making it to an amazing school!
My daughter has made her decision to enroll at Exeter, so excited! Is there an Exeter parents’ Facebook group?
As far as i know there is no FB group for Parents - there is one for students as you may know. They had a parents panel last night - hope you attended. I have to say of all the schools DS has been admitted to, Exeter is on the ball doing a good job staying and keeping connected. (FB groups, Discord group, Instagram groups, multiple live panels, etc.)
we could start our own FB group for parents, just don’t know how one will regulate it/verify it unless we ask the school to help set it up.
I would love to see an Exeter Parents FB group.
I did not get into PEA, but I would like to congratulate all of those who did! It’s an extremely selective school and I hope you find Exeter to be a great fit.
PS: I meant to post this on March 10th, but I now realize I accidentally saved it as a draft instead of posting it. Lol
Has your child started to select courses. He spent this morning doing that. Exciting times
Now there is a PEA parents group on FB.
