For those of you at Temple or with a S/D at Temple do you recommend the Experience Temple Days? We have only been there for the audition & we stopped yesterday on our way out of the city for some Temple clothing!
We are thinking this might be helpful for us to see the whole campus & better understand how everything works.

Thx! I posted this in the Temple thread too, but thought might be seen more here.

At Experience Temple Day you get to tour knowing you have the choice to attend. The first part of the program is a welcome to Temple with mascots and cheering and some current students sharing their experiences. Then you break into groups and meet with representatives of your school and individual department. You can also visit the dorms. We feel the day was really helpful to solidify the decision:)

@persevere, thank you!
Do you have a s/d at Temple? Can you share any suggestions about housing & meal plans?

@preklbt My D is currently at Temple. There are many choices in residence halls. After you pay the housing deposit, you can go onto the housing website and pick your room. The newest is Morgan Hall on corner of Broad and Cecil B. Moore. 1300 Residence Hall is also on Cecil B. Moore and is very nice. 1940 Residence Hall is right near the theater. Johnson and Hardwick have been there forever, but have been refurbished and are also close to theater. White Hall is is on Broad and is on the edge of campus (would be my least favorite for child to live in). Take a meal plan with less meals than you need. You can always add more, but If I remember correctly it is harder to reduce. Also, many of the restaurants on campus (like Cosi) take Diamond Dollars which just requires the student to swipe their ID like a debit card.
