I want to continue my education—get a post-bacc certificate, or (ideally) my Masters. However, I made a lot of mistakes when I waa younger, and have the undergrad transcript to prove it. Also, I am not moving anytime soon, so an online program is preferable.
Are there any semi-respectable graduate programs through a university extension school? My undergrad was Poli Sci, and I am interested in continuing in this direction, or possibly Public Health.
Here in CA, the UCs offer some good extension programs. It really depends on the subject matter, but there is a lot to choose from. They grant certificates, rather than degrees.
It is a good way to get subject matter knowledge, but you won’t really impress anyone with the name of the school (as there are not many barriers to entry).
Thanks! I was thinking that I could get a post-bacc certificate in a Poli Sci-adjacent subject, and use it toward my admissions effort. he only problem so far is that it seems that CSU/UC extension programs are for practical/technical things, like Paralegal Studies, etc…
