Extra cirriculars!!

A few quick questions about extra cirricular activities: I am a wrestler, but would I want to include the wrestling clubs and camps and such I did in the off season as a separate extra curic?

Would power lifting be seen as legit to admissions staffs? I have pretty impressive numbers and put a lot of work into lifting, however I have never gone to an actual meet. There is one coming up on October 23rd that I am looking to attend, and I could put that on the application as I would likely win it. Would this look legit to colleges?

Thanks

What you may want to do is create a one-page athletic resume if you are looking to get recruited. This could include former coaches’ contact information and details about your achievments. Otherwise, don’t list your lifting stats on a regular application unless you win an award of some sort. Group your camps and clubs as much as possible, i.e., “Summer wrestling camps, 2008-10. Boomtown Wrestling Club, 2008-10 (Most Improved award, 2009).” Keep it compact and easy to understand.
