My daughter plays D3 tennis. We have not received any bills for travel related expenses or the spring trip. The college provides the uniform and jacket, but they are on loan and do not belong to my daughter. The school washes those items. I don’t think they wash the workout clothes, but I could be wrong. We pay for rackets, string, shoes, etc.
As far as injuries, your insurance is primary, but they gave us the college insurance info as secondary and they are picking up some of the PT cost.
I agree that it probably varies greatly by college, so definitely worth asking.
