Extracurricular or Community Service?

<p>I’ve been heavily invovled with a community service club at my school since sophomore year (PR in 10th, President in 11th and 12th), and I wasn’t sure if I should put the club under the “Extracurriculars” section or the “Community Service” section of the UC app. We have some kind of volunteer project nearly ever other weekend (if not every weekend), so organizing and planning stuff for the club eats up most of my time. I don’t have any other community service things to put in the “Community Service” section because all the volunteering I’ve been doing in high school has either been through my own community service club or some other clubs on campus. What should I do?</p>

<p>I put my service club under "Extracurriculars," and since I volunteered at the local public library for a few summers, I put that under "Community Service," since it's more of a long-term thing. For the description for my service club, I also listed a few services that I attended (such as AIDS Walk). I guess you could do that, but I'm not sure whether you could put anything under "Community Service." :/</p>
