extracurriculars what?

Hey guys,

I live in Holland and our system is very, very, VERY different than the american (educational) system.
We don't have thinks like extra-curri's. Neither do we have XXX' hours of community service. Sure I can help at the old people's home, but I don't think it will make a big difference...

I learn at a much higher level at school than an average American HS, maybe you can compare it to a prep school.
I learn languages such as dutch, english, german and french at school (almost 4 years). I am a logical student (we have alpha, beta aka logical and gamma studentss LOL!), I enjoy physics, sience, engineering and I got more knowledge of these subjects than all my other classmates :P , I speak russian fluently, I am currently in an 'art-team' where we make projects and visit museums and stuff. This 'art-team' is selective, I go to a special English class (we call it cambridge class), its an intermediate level of english and I will hopefully get my FCE this year. FCE stands for First Certificate in English, it is a Cambridge exam and it has higher ratings than the TOEFL tests...
I will be joining the debate team next year or maybe this year. I have a bit of a talent for discussions my teacher said... :P

I have done 7 years or more tennis, I believe I can play wonderful if I train hard enough. But I'm so lazy during training I'm the worst player around. :P
However I have been skiing since I was little (I just turned 15) and even won a medal, now I am snowboarding. Are these stuff also extracurriculars??

I have drawing all my life and thats why I got selected in our art team. I do photography and I think I'm really good at it. Everything I know I thought myself. I know how to use photoshop but I want to get more experienced and get the ACE, which stands for Adobe Certified Expert. It's a cool thing to have on your resume though...

I have been taking acting classes about 3 years ago. And now I am joining a pretty (DAMN pretty :D) goot theatre school in a big city near my home.

What can I count as extracurriculars?

I want to get into a selective university to be honest... But that will be probably 5 years from now! Yeah that means I will be 20 when I can go to college, stupid dutch system...
I got alot of time and I want to use it good. I want to study drama so friggin bad...

any help puleeeze. :D

driftangel, American unis understand that the system in Europe is different and that European graduates will not have the same kinds of backgrounds as American kids. That said, you have a lot of extracurriculars (which only means your interests/accomplishments outside of school.) You can certainly list your theater, art, your tennis and skiing.
