intensive training in ballet and modern dance at top level of well-respected pre-professional dance school (Berkeley Ballet Theater), 20+ hrs/week of class and rehearsal during school year, performs in 16+ shows per year, many leading roles performed (if you want to see my dance resume, ask), 9th-12th</p>

<p>performed with non-profit youth directed & run dance company (En Pointe Youth Dance Company) which donates 10% of annual revenue from ticket sales to an orphanage in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and gave a free performance there, 9th-11th</p>

<p>accepted by audition to prestigious ballet summer programs like Houston Ballet, attended Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet 11th, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet 10th, and Boston Ballet 9th</p>

<p>plan to audition for professional ballet companies Spring 2008, if I get a contract, I will defer a year or two from college to dance professionally</p>

<p>In at all. i would say berkeley would've been the hardest on your list, but you're in-state, so all the better.</p>

<p>your academics are excellent, numbers solid, and your unique dance EC clearly sets you apart and beyond. i'd imagine you would do this, but just a reminder anyway: write about your dedication to dance in your essay (obv.)</p>

<p>i think you know you stand an excellent chance at all those schools, but just to boost your self-esteem a bit more, here's some affirmation. :)</p>
