^In HS that kind of conversation wouldn’t exactly fly. Fortunately, in college, it appears (from my orientation experience) that everyone doesn’t know each other so they’d do anything to get to know someone.

I’m like you, OP, but we have hope!!!

in high school, i had a friend who would break the ice with “what’d you have for dinner last night?”

tl;dr.
I suspect Daniel is that little green alien who sits on her shoulder and periodically insults her for the joy of the watching audience.

Yabba Dabba Doo!

No … even for a 2 year old

Oh my. Is this for real? Is Daniel real…

“I kept to myself, but I keenly observed every name tag of the staff running the event. I did not find him.”

For a quiet, shy person, you have a lot on your mind.

I am incredible shy too but you just have to force your self to say hi to people because otherwise you cant suceed in life and if your a drama student, i would think your talkative and crazy and wild like drama people are known to be

Daniel here. leave me alone you freak.

There’s this guy I’m always afraid of talking to because he’s so much smarter than me and I’m afraid of what he’ll think of me but I always carry out extra books not required in school and he’s always the one to start up the conversation because of the books I carry LOL . Albeit, he doesn’t keep eye contact because he’s shy too but he’s curious XD That gave me the guts to start talking to people haha.

Is this girl stalking Daniel? Stephanie Meyers should write a book about this—at a third-grade level, of course, but still.

KidNovelist, definitely an A for effort. Lol…Extra books? Really?

■■■■■(10char)

I spoke to Daniel yesterday–he’s avoiding you…

Holy *MONKEYBALLS this thread is the *!

man this ***** is so ****ed up! I gotta know what happens to daniel now! Bet he takes out a glock and starts shooting her stalking ass!

I don’t think you should be worried. During orientation, I didn’t really make any friends but as the year went by, the friends came quickly.

I agree with Cacciato. Keep us updated on the apparent soap opera that is your life.

The comments and advice comfort me. So does one more prospect that strengthens my resolve. After devoting the day to sifting through countless clubs and organizations on campus via the school’s website, I have found him. Daniel, a senior, helps organize campus visits. He holds authority.

I crave Daniel’s authority. Like a loyal minion to the master, I pledge to endure whatever he has in store. Lost in the wilderness, he awaits my coming. How do I seek his touch? I cannot venture out into this toxic college’s atmosphere unless it is for him.

^ You should write a memoir when all is said and done.

This threads garbage. w.t.f
I thought this was real.
