<p>does anyone know how to change your college on the facebook (since I'm transferring) without losing all your friends?</p>

<p>I just made a new account for my new school, and kept my old one too. I think there is a way to do it, but you'd probably have to email the Facebook people.</p>

<p>ehh what a hassle. I emailed them..who knows if they will ever respond.</p>

<p>I had my account transferred from UF to Stanford. I emailed them and they changed it within a day. It was fairly easy, you just have to provide them with an email from your new school and your old account information.</p>

<p>Yup. I did the same- e-mail the Facebook even though that took a bit of time... I still had my friends but they didn't have me under my new school. So I had to poke a couple people to get that part working... now I'm under my new school in my friends' accounts. I think Facebook's still working on that glitch of transferring accounts and friends.</p>

<p>Which email address did you guys send the account transfer request to? I tried <a href="mailto:info@thefacebook.com">info@thefacebook.com</a> and <a href="mailto:suggest@thefacebook.com">suggest@thefacebook.com</a>, and I'm getting the same automated replies.</p>

<p>I got those automated replies too. Just ignore them. One day I woke up and signed into my original school's facebook account and to my surprise it said I had 0 friends. I screamed and realized that it was only because Facebook had transferred my account for me to my new school. And then you have to log in as your new email to see all of your old friends. Don't worry about the automated responses. I seriously think I sent them 20 emails waiting for them to go through. I guess some did.</p>
