^^Do not like the new Facebook. D: I'm set in my old ways, haha. The old layout is simple and the new one is too complicated with its tabs and what not.

It's going to be so fun trying to put together faces to people's profile pictures. :) Haha.

I...don't have a fb. But if I did I'd only use it to talk to my already existing friends, or maybe find out more about a new friend/get to know them a little better.

I don't have a fb, and I'm wondering if I should wait or make one now. I don't want to be the creepy kid with no friends who suddenly starts adding people at his school, but I don't want to kill my social life before it even had a chance because people can't find me on facebook.

Or you could make a faebook and start adding the kids who seemed to have added everyone in the group. Then when you get to school no one will really think anything of it and you can start adding your hallmates and other people you've had real life contact with.

I'm one of the rare people that tries to keep it only to my good friends. That way I can keep tabs on the people I care about rather than some people I hardly know who spend WAY too much time on there.

I have 700 friends, but a lot of them are friends or acquaintances that I used to hang out with, and not so much anymore. But I have known almost everyone on my Facebook at some point. Probably only half of my friend pool have I written on their wall, though.

what is your take on pictures? I know a girl thats 17 and has about 1300 pictures on facebook... i was "popular" in hs (i feel like a loser saying that) but i only have about 40 pictures of me, 25 of which i added myself. Anyhow, what do you think when you see people with A LOT of pictures, versus few or none?

I have over 500, and rather doubt it is in any way a reflection of popularity or lack thereof. I know that, at least in my case, I'm pretty active in the Facebook groups, engaging in political debate. Consequently, a bunch of people who find themselves on the same side as me send me friend requests. And since, these days, I use Facebook mostly as a platform to share news and opinion pieces, I accept them. But in turn, it influences the personal information I'm willing to post. (And yes, I could use filtering, but I don't care enough to do that.)
