<p>Just out of curiosity, How many of you have joined the Official Binghamton University Class of 2015 on Facebook?</p>
<p>My son is the rare kid that could careless about Facebook, so he is not on it. I as the nosy parent have checked it out and am as always shocked at what people will write on public forums. I think if he read everything he wouldn’t want to go there, so I am happy he is not on it. Maybe I am just to old for this “Facebook thing”…</p>
<p>Omesh im in the group. Bonacspud: what do you mean? I’m fairly active in the group and I don’t see anything that would make Binghamton unappealing. It’s mostly kids talking about their hobbies and making friends.</p>
<p>Bonacspud : It’s an awesome group, it’s only students discussing about their interests and hobbies and stuff. Being an international student, I’m all the more excited to join BU after joining the group.</p>
<p>I am in the group. Wooo.</p>
<p>Also, having been on the forum, I know where Bonacspud is coming from (though, personally, I don’t share the same view.) There are more “drinking” and “partying” discussions going on than anything. Some people who stumble upon the group may be really turned off by that sort of thing, you know? :P</p>
<p>My daughter (who will be attending Bing in the fall) has signed up.</p>
