Facebook is starting to annoy the heck out of me. I have requested to join my high school's network and have had multiple friends confirm me into the network. However, I am STILL not a part of the network

then I went to their help page and it said "If you do not have an option to add a high school network to your account, then you may be ineligible to register with a high school at this time. If you currently attend high school and are between the ages of 13 and 18 but have not provided this information accurately, please use the link at the bottom to contact us – we’ll then be able to update your account. If you are over the age of 18, you will need to add your high school information to the Education section of your Profile, as you are no longer eligible to add a high school network. Note that people will still be able to find you in a Classmates Search. "

WHAT LINK AT THE BOTTOM?! THERE'S NOT EVEN A LINK FOR A SUPPORT EMAIL!!

SAME! I would say 80% of my friends are from my school and they have ALL confirmed me and I still do not belong to the network. I have gone to this school for 12 years, I want to be in the network.

Most people say, “I emailed facebook and they placed me in the network” but THERE IS NO EMAIL. Ugh. And I don’t want to make a new fb because I leave everything.

I recently got a facebook in late May and have had minimal to no problems. I have joined my college network but not high school so I am not familier with your situation. Try gooooogle.

And college networks are different because you enter your college email. For high school you need to friend request classmates and have them “confirm” you in.

My head is buzzing from frustration. I just want to be a part of the school network, so that when interviewers look me up on Facebook and see my high school name under my profile picture, they can be sure that they have the right me.

I just want to join my school network. My parents have spent over 420,000 on my education and I can’t join that school network. What. the. heck.

I see that I’m not the only one with fb problems at the moment. Someone hacked into my account, and I’ve spent the past hour of my life evaluating the extent of the damage. So far, it seems like it’s only a few wall posts on my all of my friends’ walls. Oh, I forgot, the person also used my account to chat with random people— I have no idea about what.

May I ask what school you attend? You don’t have to answer, I understand. I’ve sent an email to facebook using their bugs reporting form, I’ll see how that goes.

Yes, jkaufman, now you need to be confirmed by people already in your school’s network. But, if you are in college, you need your college email.

right now, there’s this weirdo old guy on there saying he lives in my town and he’s friending all these random teenagers I know. he’s a creep and says “he’s just lonely and wants some friends.”

it’s pretty funny though.
as long as it doesn’t turn serious, which I doubt it will, with the rather large number of my friends reporting him.
