omg chibearsfan ... straight outta Schompton??!! BAAAAAAAAAAH THAT cracks me up so bad so now i want to be your friend. pm me!

damn...everybody wants to be chibears friend...you should run for student gov too mr. schompton...you and maguo over there (that is when he is allowed back into the free world again).

It looks like its going to be a while before I get out. How do you run for student gov? Is it easy to win? Is it a popularity contest like in hs?
Oh, being new to this whole facebook thing, there's something I don't get. How do you find and join groups?

bsriv@umich.edu

please don't stalk me...

maguo1... lol... Just search for them in the search tab. Type in an interest and you're bound to find some groups that fill it. Or you could just look through the groups on other people's profiles and see if any appeal to you.

sheymes@umich.edu
myspace is for suckers who think they are unique and different, but really aren't. facebook is way cooler

holy crap nirvana we have tons of friends in common....PM me

reeses414 how did the rest of ur yr go? PM me

kb, not everyone wants to be friend. Usually it's just girls after they see my picture ;-) Oh man I crack myself up. So anyways, college politics is far from a "popularity contest" maguo. I mean, you don't see Michael Phelps or Mike Hart as pres do you? So it's not really who has the most friends, it's who makes the most friends around election time.

well there was only one credible party on campus, students4michigan, but because of scandals the word is they will nto exist next year

Like, how do you make a lot of friends around election time? Hold a kegger in your dorm?

maxer (at) umich.edu is my facebook

just search me out

if theres any chicas calientes on CC, do it up

everyone else can too if they want lol

ehhh...i wouldn't go that far...all the parties won seats on MSA...so in that sense they were all credible.

Maguo, the campaigns are actual semi-serious affairs. MSA is interesting because on the one hand, its a student government run by 18-22 year olds. In that sense its not really a uber-serious thing....but on the other hand, MSA is a government with a larger budget than most small towns. MSA reps have a lot of influence with the regents and administrators. In that sense, MSA is serious...its all about striking a balance I suppose.

If you are interested in getting involved with government (and PLEASE do...we need smart people in government) keep your eyes open for opportunities to get involved in the fall. They'll be well advertised.

nirvana, you are very badly mistaken if you think S4M was the only "credible party" in the elections. Many would argue S4M was the least credible party because of their past failures (i.e. Ludacris concert and impending treasury fiasco) and because they were in power for so many years simply because they were the only party (Defend AA party doesn't really count. They make it appear as though they don't even take themselves seriously). Also maguo, kegger may or may not be the way to make friends. A lot of candidates just walk around dorms starting up convos with people with the intent of getting their vote.

the only thing i liked about S4M were the sudoku puzzles on their flyers. i'd usually pick one up on my way to Angell. it gave me something to do in my phil class.

anyway, bzshang@umich.edu
