Who has facebook? I've already meet a bunch of MT majors at BW and I'm making friendships and connections. It's great and just as addicting as CC! I recomend getting it if you have your school email ready.

ok i finally got myspace AND thefacebook!!!!!!!!!!!!! PM me guys or email me: Broadway32nd@aol.com..... I WANT YOU ALL TO BE MY FRIENDS! ;)

I'm on MySpace...finally. I resisted for so long, but I finally succumbed when I realize I could find all my old friends I'd lost touch with on it!

my school just got facebook this year, and i have to say, aside from being fun, it's great for networking. i've found that my friends have friends who are at schools i've been looking at and it was the perfect way for me to ask questions and get some inside info on these particular schools.

Two UM MT students wrote a song cycle last year called EDGES which was performed in Ann Arbor, did an "East Coast Tour" in the summer (D.C., Philly, Hatford, and NYC!), and is now being performed at CMU during next week's Playground (where students are given a week off to create their own works, all of which are performed over the three days on next weekend.) One of the songs in that show, which UM actually used in its 2005 NYC Senior Showcase, is called "Be My Friend," with the refrain starting "Please be my friend on the Facebook..." It's hilarious - I'll post more if I get the writers' permission to do so!!!

Glad you are spreading the word about "Edges," Coach C. Many UM'ers are traveling to CMU next Saturday to see this production. I understand that seven colleges have secured the rights to put on this song cycle and I know for sure that it is being done by BOCO sometime this year. I saw the show here in Philly in May and it is wonderful work by two very young composers (now UM juniors) with enormous potential.

Another plug for anyone able to see some of the many CMU Playground productions, WCT's son, (remember Wct? - she was an early contributor to this discussion and my personal CC angel) who is now a junior acting major at CMU has a show going up in the Rauh Studio Theater on Saturday night right before the production of "Edges." He wrote, directed and will star in this show, which is called "Dark Night." He's an incredible actor (was an NFAA Presidential Scholar in the Arts). All performances are free.
