<p>Some college admission directors/counselors have facebook accounts, and invite prospective students to friend them.</p>

<p>Do you think it's okay to do so? Is it okay for an applicant to friend them and ask questions about admission/application/scholarships/etc?</p>

<p>I just received an email from a private college admission, and at the end where the signature goes - it told prospective students to friend him/her.. I don't know if it's okay for me to do it. Would it affect admissions positively/negatively?</p>
