I had the opportunity to visit many lac out east. One common thread that seems to run throughout most of these schools is that the faculty is outstanding. Many of the tour guides told examples of how the profs would do just about anything to pull students along. In some instances, faculty would mix social with academic in order to provide teaching, mentoring, and friendship to students. I even got the feeling that the real “test” was getting accepted into a school…once that happened, profs would make sure you achieved the highest possible success. I was just wondering if Bowdoin faculty fell into this category, too. I would love to hear from any past/current students who may be willing to share some thoughts on Bowdoin faculty. Thanks!
