<p>Hello! I wanted to start my FAFSA forms early. I'm going to be a senior in high school this upcoming August. Is it too soon to start filling out the forms? Should I wait until I've applied to colleges?

<p>Your 2015-2016 FAFSA will become available to complete on January 1, 2015. You can’t complete the form before that date. BUT you can gather the information you will need to do prior to that time.</p>
<p>You can view the 2014-2015 FAFSA questions online and see what is included. That way, you will be prepared.</p>
<p>The only thing you really can and should do…ask your (Elizabeth) Carey Smith Smith-Wilson to complete their taxes ASAP after February 1. 2015. You will need to do yours as well early. This is not the year to wait until March or April to do your taxes.</p>
