<p>I'm filling out my fafsa now for the 2009-2010 year and I do not plan on filing a 2008 income tax return. I received federal grants and work study (earned about $940) for this school year. Is there any where on the form where I am supposed to indicate this? Does the work-study count as income? or taxable need-based employment earnings?</p>
<p>Even if you report Work Study, it is adjusted back out. It is a form of aid, so is not taken into account.</p>
