FAFSA?

Does anyone know the income threshold to even bother with filling out the fafsa for law school?

Is it true that if you don’t fill one out the first year, you can’t seek Stafford loans the following years?

And finally, if you are seeking merit based scholarships, will filling out the CSS profile, when it is highly unlikely that it would result in any merit aid, actually hurt your chances of merit scholarships?

Thanks!

I believe you need to complete FAFSA to be eligible for any federal loans, which for most professional students is Grad Plus.

CSS Profile is for undergrad, if I am not mistaken.

You will need to file the FAFSA for any federal grad plus loans. Some schools (Penn, HYS) will ask for parent income info using the Needs Access ( similar to the CSS Profile) in order to give out need based aid
