Fall 08 Transfer do I have a chance

Hey everybody, I currently attend a community college in WA state. I will be applying after fall quarter in which I can boost my GPA. I will also like to major in Finance.

College Gpa 3.1 with 46 credits

Gender- Male
Ethnicity- African American

EC's
- Secetary of Black Student Union
- 120 hours volunteering at local hospital
- Youth leader at local community center
- Intern at Local Garden Shop

Do I have a shot at these Schools

Indiana University- Bloomington
University of Washington
Seattle University
Ohio State University
University of Arizona
Arizona State University

I would greatly appreciate if anybody could give me insight on my chances to all of these schools.

If you are 3.1 in college courses with that many credits, you are in for sure at every school on your list with the possible exception of Ohio State. I even expect you are a "match" there also, although it's not as sure a thing as the others, which are all in the range of "safe match" to "match".

P.S. To get into the business programs at some of these schools you will need to have taken certain pre-requisite courses and have a certain amount of ECs also. For example, at Indiana you will need to have taken one microeconomics course, one calculus course, one public speaking course, and one computer course to be accepted, and will need to be able to finish certain other courses before entering their "Business I-Core" program. Same applies to Univ of Washington. So my "you're in" comment presumes you've been taking these courses as well.

Best of luck at whichever school you choose to attend.
