I thought it would be good to start a fresh thread for those of us who applied RD or were deferred ED.

I got into Loyola as a psychology major on the 24th of February, according to the acceptance letter! I didn't get it until Saturday the 28th tho. I was so pumped. Now I'm just praying I can afford this school... which isn't looking to be likely... we'll just have to wait and see.

I was SHOCKED at how early I learned. I was expecting to have to wait until the 15th of April like some kids last year did. Plus I didn't apply until 10pm the night applications were due lol.

i was deferred from EA. does anyone know if the deferred applications are reviewed as soon as they receive your midyear or do they review them after the RD have been decided??

I don’t think they take midyear reports? I know they don’t require them or even look at them. Unless they specifically asked you for one? I applied Regular Decision but sent my stuff in early december and got a reply by the end of Feb.

I contacted LMU asking if they need mid-year/senior grades. The woman told me that if they need them, they will ask for them. I applied at the end of December and am still awaiting a decision. Good luck guys :)

i sent in a midyear because i got deferred. regular decision applicants don’t need to unless they have asked specifically for your first semester grades.

I received an invitation in the mail regarding an “Asian Pacific Scholars” visit at lmu and it said it was to meet admitted students…but I haven’t received by admittance yet. does that mean you’re accepted or is it just something for ALL applicants?? anyone else get it??

i got in and they gave me $25k grant, 10k loans.
