HAha, I can see what you’re getting at. Actually, I already have an admission offer from a rather renowned university, so I’ll only be considering the US if I get into any of these, or Princeton, which I chose to avoid putting down earlier.

@PrincetonDreams
Impressive! =) Yeah, it is NUS.

No I’m not on a gap year, I’m in senior high school. But I’m a scholar, so I already have the offer in my hands. It’s a scholarship offer from NUS which covers everything and includes a more than generous monthly allowance. So applying to SUNY Buffalo is out of question. But there are a few other LACs that I’m considering, which are not on the list above.

Just curious, why isn’t anyone else talking about their college list ? ;)

Hi, I did the ib and was wondering how many of you did that as well?
I am thinking of Vassar ED and Brandeis, Bard, Sarah Lawrence, Grinnell and some other places.
hey princeton33, you must be a singapore airlines scholar no? my brother was one too and he chose to go to Vassar.

Those of you looking for full-rides (or generous financial/merit aid) for internationals should consider the midwestern-LACs-especially Grinnell and Macalester. Both have around 11% of their student body coming from overseas, and Grinnell, in particular, has a large endowment that they use to buy diversity on their campus.

M’s Mom-Thank you for mentioning that.I have already considered the two,interviewed with Mac just for practice,rejected it for the cold.I am ,however, considering Grinnell seriously.
It would be great it you could suggest some more colleges with warmer weather :)
