I’m still waiting, too. Transfer, out of area, sociology major. I turned my transcripts in on time. They had requested them by January 31st. My status says “Referred to Impacted Major”

Still waiting also :(. Still says “Eligible for Consideration”
Major: Kinesiology *Exercise Science

They are so inconsistent it’s annoying! Im a transfer student for un impacted
Major and I’m still waiting also. I applied like the 2nd to last day before applications closed. Does anyone think it has anything to do with it? That the time in which you hear back coincides with how soon or late your applied?

I don’t know, I applied Nov.20th and I’m still waiting. My major is Psychology so it is impacted and I’m not local.

I applied a couple of weeks before the deadline, and they received it on 11/13/2013.I’m still on “eligible for consideration.”

Im not sure it matters, because I applied maybe a week after the application opened and I still havent heard back from them yet. Transfer student, econ major.

@Hbkelley No, I really don’t think your admission response has anything to do with when you applied. While I do believe the admissions process for college is one of life’s mysteries, it does have to do with your stats, major, how many apps, etc. Try calling the admissions office on Monday and talking with them. Best of luck to you.

@hbkelly, how soon or late you apply actually does matter. I have a friend who’s dad works at admissions for UC Irvine and he told me people who apply earlier are considered over those who apply later. I applied to CPP and Sdsu the first day you could apply and I got accepted to both, I applied to CSULB like the last day you can apply and I got waitlisted. So I’m pretty sure it’s true

@xxcapital I applied for the village on wednesday, what about you? I was almost going to choose the suites, but it costs a lot more.

@kaislinn91 Me too! The suites are almost 2x (or more) more than the village. The village has a pool which is really neat! Then again, the school has a general pool too, but I’m not sure if it’s open yet. If not, it probably will during the fall when the new fitness center opens

@xxcapital, yeah cpp does have a pool by the dorms, but it doesn’t look very nice! lol the one at the village is probably way more legit. It’s cool utilities and everything is included too, with cable! Ha. I can’t wait to move there

Why are they still not letting us know!?!?!?! :((

Still nothing

Anyone else still waiting?

Haven’t heard anything back neither. Psychology transfer with over 60 units and 3.2 gpa. Almost certain I’ve been rejected/denied at this point.

@ol1vetree same here. At this point I can only assume the worst…

Ugh…same boat guys, same boat. I want to hear something…ANYTHING by at least Wednesday.

@kaislinn91 Hey~ What time is your reservation time slot for the village?

I’m still waiting

Nothing. At least the playoffs are keeping my mind occupied.

Lakers need a new coach. /nuff said
