or some reason in when I track my application it says that all of my transcripts are “Unofficial” and I scanned all of my transcripts in Part I of the application.
Is anyone still waiting to hear back from Columbia?
@Kenram401 you should not have scanned, you are supposed to have your school send an official sealed transcript to CUGS admissions
@lexyjm12 - I am still waiting to hear back, but I am not expecting to hear anything until at least July 20 since I am not an early decision applicant. I am extremely nervous! My current GPA and extra curricular activities were decent, but due to a pregnancy, I had two withdrawals because my classes conflicted with my doctor’s appointments. I just hope that the withdrawals will not hurt me in the admissions decision.
@premed9000 I called and they told me I can still be accepted with unofficial transcripts but I if accepted I need to have the official transcripts in their office before the first day of class.
I got to know an Alumni of the university but I don’t know how I can mention it to them now after I have already turned in my application.
What is the financial aid login and password?
Im still waiting to hear back, I was regular decision, one of my transcripts are pending revision, its under a married name. I am extremely nervous too. I have very good and many extra curricular’s and life experience but my gpa is not great.
@Kenram401 I don’t think you get your financial aid log in unless you have been accepted, I think it goes by a UNI # which is your number you get as a student of CU/CUGS etc.
@premed9000 - The same thing happened to me with my transcripts, 2 of which were under my maiden name. I was sweating bullets for a while. Luckily, they were processed/received.
@robgab What was your GPA?
I got in later in June! Yay! I’m so excited!! I can’t thank GS Committee on Admissions enough for giving me a chance! Is it unusual to write them a thank you letter? I’d really like to do that!
@itsmenick212 congratulations on getting in!! I wish you the best of luck at Columbia!
@premed9000 Thank you so much!
@itsmenick212 Congratulations to you again for getting accepted! I don’t think it would hurt if you wrote a letter of appreciation to the GS Committee and Admissions. It shows class and gratitude.
@itsmenick212 Congratulations on getting in!
@Kenram401 Thank you so much!
@Brijul Thank you for your well wishes and advice! I’ll write the letter today!
did you get result yet?
Congrats! May I know when did you submit application?
