Hey how come no one has updates anymore ?? is anybody still on the waitlist ?? did anyone got denied??
i just find it weird that no one has post anything lately. If you are still on the waitlist we still have hope. I think pomona now should have the last number of openings since now they have only the people who got admitted and pay for their confirmation deposited. Maybe next week we will hear from them.
I am still on the waitlist, and I also find it really strange how people stop updating. I guess Cal Poly is still pending space available. I hope we can hear back from them soon. Hopefully next week. Has anyone heard back from Computer Science on the wait list? Thanks in advance!
I got in for electrical engineering. Then sent the email at just about an hour ago.
@AppleMactintosh I got waitlisted for CS back in late March and got accepted mid April. Did you write a letter of continued interest? I believe that’s what helped me out. @JoJoJenkins do you have any idea that how hard would it be to enroll in classes @ cpp? or how crowded would the classes be in general?
My major is EE, and want to apply for masters, so I’m really concern about the number of students in classes and to make a good relation with professors.
Is it normal for all the deadline dates to still be the same? I got accepted off the waitlist, but it still shows the due dates as 5/1/15 (Or 5/12/15 for the $100 deposit).
@ProjectC4 Who did you send your letter to? I emailed the college of ag outreach person a while back but never got a response. Did you mail it in or email and to who? Thanks. Still waiting.
Something new just appeared on my to-do list. Admission Decision 2015-2016. It says:
In order for you to receive a financial aid award, you must be admitted to Cal Poly Pomona. According to our records, you still have not been admitted, or you need to re-apply for admission after not being enrolled two consecutive quarters. Please complete any outstanding admission items in order to be evaluated for admission to Cal Poly Pomona.
I was sent an email saying I was accepted. Does it just take a while to update?
Also, I am applying for housing exemption. Am I supposed to pay the initial housing payment and then get a refund once the exemption request goes through. Or do I just not pay at all?

@darkfire25 yes… I got off the waitlist for chemical engineering and have the same question about all the due dates. I just submitted my enrollment fee and housing app, but i have not yet submitted the initial housing fee ($450). So, when do I have to submit this by?
Also, when are all the deadlines for all the waitlisted people?
@darkfire25 Did you accept your acceptance? You need to submit your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) to be fully enrolled. Here’s the timeline though I believe all the due dates change if you aren’t accepted by May 1. https://www.cpp.edu/~admissions/undergraduate/transfer/next-steps.shtml
@serevicfrode Well, I’m applying for housing exemption (Actually just got an email an hour ago saying it was currently being reviewed) so I haven’t sent it. I know that it is possible to ask for a deferral of the initial housing fee if you can’t pay right now.
Also, looks like my enrollment deposit went through. So now just the housing app and initial fee are on the to-do list. The housing app was completed, but I you have to pay fee to actually really complete it so that it’s removed from the list. But it should be fine once my housing exemption goes through.

@bunnyhugger I mailed it physically to the director of Admissions. Your stamps go on the upper right, your address on the upper left, and cal Poly’s address in the center. Above cal Poly’s address, write Director of Admissions so they know who to give it to.

I am. I doubt it will help, but I wrote a Letter of Continued Interest and sent it to the Director of Admissions.
