Still waiting on my decision from Cal Poly Pomona and I am really nervous about this. The wait is killing me! Any chances that I may get in? I’m really hoping to get in. This is my primary school that I would like to attend in the future.
I just want April 15th to come sooner.
I went to the Admissions office a few days ago and spoke at their office. I heard that they have accepted applications even after May or very last minute, which is making me very anxious!
Any other appliers that are computer science majors that are also waiting for their admission status?

@anniewong1 my son is still waiting for Computer Sciience. His gpa is 3.68 and SAT 1230. We got waitlisted at UC Riverside, Santa Cruz, and Irvine. Poly is out last local chance. We live in Redlands. The wait has been horrible. But I do hope it does not go farther than the 15th. He can go to Merced or Hawaii but I would love for him to be a bit closer to his family. Good luck to both you and him!

might be different bc of the majors, but don’t worry! i was so nervous because i didnt hear anything from cal poly in march, and they JUST updated my portal now, im sure youre going to get in!

Do you think they’re doing it based off major? Because I don’t know anyone that got in for computer science yet…
@guam671951 I believe so. Two days ago they were accepting students with Agricultural Science, Animal Science, and other subjects related. I think they are doing in waves, but I can’t guarantee what I say.

@anniewong, what is your SAT breakdown. A minimum 550 SAT for CS is important, so if you do not make that threshold, your SAT could be the problem.

Not the best stats but I have taken community college all four years of high school which gained me 52 units (16 classes) including a cyber security award from cypress college.
Sounds like they may finally be doing freshman admits again? It is confusing as this thread is for both freshman and transfers even though there is a transfer thread. So can you all post if you are freshman or transfers so we can better gauge for our own understanding of where we may stand. Congrats on the acceptances. Sounds like ME and CS are still undetermined maybe today? We can at least hope.
