Has anyone applied for cpp’s Architecture program? I haven’t seen anyone on the thread that has applied and I’m wondering if they are still waiting to hear from them like I am. It’s been almost six months with no notifications, not even one email from them since I applied back in early November and all it’s told me on my portal is that there are “No Actions Required”. I’m aware that their architecture program is “Impacted” but I was just wondering if anyone is in the same situation.
@jayrmills I’m in the same boat as you. My sat is 1330 and weighted gpa is 3.88 i was wondering if anyone has gotten accepted?
I’m confused my real weighted gpa was 3.92 but when I put my classes and grades on my CSU application it came out to 3.85 so would they determine my decision based off the gpa stated on my application?
@guam671951 you are limited to 8 semester classes of weighting so if you took more than 4 classes for an entire year then those extra points do not qualify as part of GPA weighting.
@jayrmills i’m in the exact same situation, lets hope we both get accepted
the best of luck to the both of us. I will post it if anything comes up.
Hello everyone! Just got provisionally admitted today. Major is Urban Planning. Best of luck to everybody!
@anxiousengineer it said application received!
Just got an email that son’s financial aid award was in. We got a little excited, but when we checked the portal it was just the stafford loan. Much ado about nothing.
I’m still currently waiting, but a few of my classmates have already been accepted into Computer Science. I know people with higher and lower stats than mine that have been accepted so all we have to do is wait.
@Sgtdookie Congrats to your class mates! I’m glad that CPP is now getting to the Computer Science majors. Thank you for this message.
@anniewong1, actually I was misinformed, my friends actually received their acceptances beginning of February and March. I think the engineering and computer science field are last to come out due to how many people applied to those majors. Best of luck to us all.
Campus tours were entirely booked and it appeared they may have added more but if they had, those were booked as well. Because we were in SoCal, we decided to pick a tour time and drop in anyways to see if they could accommodate us. They definitely did and added us on with no fuss. I’d say don’t let the “full” designation deter you from getting on one of those tours. We also tried calling their outreach dept which runs the tours prior to dropping by but they didn’t return our call until after we had already toured. Still, their message echoed what we had already done: pick a tour time and show up.
9 more days till April 15. Hope to hear soon.
I asked the representative in person, she said mid April or even late April.
@IrisMY Is that for freshman or transfers? Are more freshman being admitted?
@IrisMY I’ve asked a friend that had a brother apply to CPP last year. He did not get his acceptance until mid May, which passes the SIR due date.
@anniewong1 Was he a freshman or transfer? Had he been on the waitlist? Mid May is sooooo late. I sincerely hope we don’t have to wait that long. If we haven’t heard by April 30th, we’ll be accepting at Fullerton - which means paying the $250 deposit. We also need to apply for housing by May 16th, so that means another deposit - some of which is non-refundable. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed for decisions to come out this week!
Did anyone see the movie Zootopia? When I think of the people in the Admissions Office processing applications, it makes me think of the DMV scene in Zootopia… remember the sloths?! Just a little comic relief…
Transfer student. I’m not sure for freshman
