I was waitlisted too. My major is Architecture.
I also applied for USC, and they requested my spring grades before their final admissions decision so hopefully, I will get in somewhere…

Does accepting to attend Kellogg Honors College means I’m accepted in Cal Poly Pomona itself too? Because when I sent in the acceptance form, they said that they will send me the orientation instructions on April 17th. My major is Architecture and on MyCPP its still written ‘Pending Admissions Decision’.
Please reply cause I’m confused.

Thank you for your response! I’ve been talking to the counselors at UCR UCI and Cal Poly and they all told the same they also told me that the UC average admissions GPA For mechanical and electrical engineering was 4.5 
@sierrasracing idk I doubt that. I got in for electrical engineering at UCR with a 3.8 GPA.

@vp2019 they are separate admissions. One does not guarantee the other. I’d call admissions and talk to them to see for sure.
Hi, I’ve been following this thread for a while and it really helped having atleast some small idea of whats going on, so I’ll share too.
Just got provisionally accepter finally. Civil Engineering, but only with a 3.68 GPA as a transfer. I’m sure this is probably because of the fact I’m a Veteran though, which I’m pretty thankful for. This shows that there is space and that they haven’t filled out all the slots yet, so don’t loose hope!

@Dings CONGRATULATIONS!! I’m also a veteran and a transfer. I applied for anthropology major and I just barely got the “pending admission decision” status change. My GPA is 3.1 though, so I’m kind of worried now…
I already accepted the waitlist 4 days ago and my bronco direct still says I need to apply but I got an email 4 days ago confirming that I picked yes for waitlist. But today they sent me an email to apply for the waitlist even though I already did should I reapply for the waitlist?
We got the same thing @misakidinh333 but this time it did say 2018 lol. We went ahead and resigned up just in case since his status never updated from Monday when he originally went on the wait list. He called today and they said they would get to updates but they are manual (which tells me they dont care that their system sucks) and that they dont have the time of day to check that they received it. Not to mention he was on hold for probably 45 min before he got through to anyone. They said give it more time.
Thank you for replying and that makes me reassured that I’m not the only one having this problem.
