Fall 2018 schedule

I’m a college student who likes seeing what other students are taking. It’s something that always releases stress for me. Here are my courses I will be taking. I’m a Chemistry Major

Community College/University: University at Albany

Air Quality Air Pollution
Quantitative analysis lecture
Quantitative analysis lab
Introduction to Biochemistry
Linear Algebra
Physics II: Electromagnetism

Transferring to UMN TC for the fall, so I cannot register for classes until orientation in late August. However, based on my plan, I’ll be taking

Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics
Modern Physics Lab
Sequences, Series and Foundations (Writing Intensive Mathematics)
Applied Fourier Analysis
Ethics in Science and Technology

Taking a bit of a lighter load, as some of these I have experience with, mostly because I would hate to overload myself my first semester at a new school.

I’m a third year student in a 3+3 BS/DPT program at University of the Sciences:

Anatomy & Physiology I (MWF 10-10:50 AM, Recitation F 11-11:50 AM)
Human Structure & Function I Lab (TR 9:30-10:50 AM)
Medical Terminology for PT I (M 12-12:50 PM)
Creative Writing: Fiction (TR 8-9:20 AM)
Health Psychology (MW 8:30-9:50 AM)
Neurodevelopmental Disorders (MW 3-4:20 PM)

This all adds up to 14 credits, so it’s less than my usual 17 credits. I’m happy that I got AP Credit for a lot of classes so now I can take classes that I’m interested in like creative writing and neurodevelopmental disorders.

@JMS357 My friend wants to go to USciences. How are you liking it?

@NASA2014 sorry for not seeing this until now!

USciences is relatively easy to get into, but the problem is actually staying in the school. The coursework piles on really quickly and professors are a hit or miss. However, I really love the small school atmosphere and there’s a new residential hall being built at the moment. The school has a lot of new and old buildings for such a small campus (imo I like their buildings much more than UPenn’s). In addition, USciences is within walking distance of UPenn and Drexel so there’s always something to go to!

It’s also pretty easy to make friends here, too, considering that USciences is a very small school. Your friend should definitely check out USciences at one of the open houses in the fall! Also, s/he should take advantage of the rolling admissions policy because when I applied, I heard back within a week!

Even though I’m far away from my high school friends at Rutgers, TCNJ, and Seton Hall, I absolutely love USciences and I always find something new about it every semester!

Hope this helped!
