<p>At Andover, Crew is offered in the fall as an instructional sport. A great way for beginners to learn. It is only offered as varsity/jv in the spring.</p>
<p>It's the same at Blair. There is fall crew, but it is not competitive. The spring is competitive. Many of the varsity players do other competitive sports, like cross country, to build cardiovascular strength for the spring. The erg machines are available for workouts. </p>
<p>Take a look at the fall crew schedule at Berkshire and see who the opponents are.</p>
<p>Berkshire is doing away with fall crew and moving volleyball to the fall from the winter.
They may try to keep something going so they can still enter some of the falll regattas esp. the Head of the Charles. </p>
