Fashion Design at Pratt

I recently heard about Pratt and their Fashion Design program and became interested in it. I also heared that for 2010/2011 they won't be accepting undergraduate/associates degree aplications (from incoming freshman) for all majors. I was wondering if this is true and if Fashion/Apparel design is one of those that has/will be limited. If this is not true is Pratt a good choice for Fashion Design? Thank you! :)

I go to Pratt, and one of my good friends is in the fashion department (I am in architecture). I hear it is a good program, but expensive (Pratt is a private art school). It’s also a difficult program to get into with acceptance rates hovering slightly below ten percent.

I say visit the school see how you like it. The school is renowned for design and stands with RISD, SCAD and other prominent art schools, and being in New York City, in a safe neighborhood is also a big plus.

thanks! though I’m a little confused with the campus information, the website said that there are multiple locations. Can you clear that up?
