fat vs. thin

haha see? Now our hearts won't sink when we see our thin 'lil letters. We'll still have a hope, though it might be gasping for breath and fighting death...

:) Really, everyone, best of luck. I think we'll ALL get in!

any of you keep praying god these days for your ED?

i do...

and i was the biggest atheist/agnostic untill a month ago...

now i am praying 24/7

I'm praying too.

I can't even read arabic, and yet I find myself reading the Quran like everyday.

do u mean the Koran?

Actually, they're both the same thing GrecoPrincetonian (no definite translation into English from Arabic). It's just how you prefer to spell it.

How bout the good old fashioned Torah....Go Jews....!

I dont know about thin or thick, but I know that acceptance envelopes have a larger surface area, that is 10 by 14 instead of normal envelope size (w/e it is).

complete atheist
prays every day in the bathroom

To quote my Spanish teachers there are no atheists when a plane is crashing.

"To quote my Spanish teachers there are no atheists when a plane is crashing."

roflol

OMG....that is HILARIOUS!!!

Gregster, you are INTENSE. hehehe the surface area? Gracious!

Lol, I had no other way to phrase it... sorry if I brought back bad memories...

Back to the topic.......I thought Pton sent out regular mail to everybody, but some people who received acceptance letters told me that they receive large packet?! Which one is right? Please confirm.

then, the admittees pretty confirmed it already: it's a big envelope.

Packets for acceptances...they're not all that thick, but the envelope is much bigger

I haven't received my letter yet...maybe tomorrow.......so, basically, I can know my decisiojn based on the size of the envelope, right? How scary?!

Actually in one of the other threads one of the mom's said that they told her they would all be in the same size envelope because they got a bit behind this year.

yeah, but then the actual acceptees said they got bigger letters. I wish they were all the same size! Although, it doesn't matter anyway as all has been decided!

So we can get comfirmation that the acceptances are in fact from "large-packet like, but not too packety, but rather much like an envelope/letter contraption, only slightly larger"?

well, Princeton is an ED school. EA schools still need to sell the school to you, but with ED schools, unless they start course registration or housing or "accepted students visit day" or something really early there's a limit to the amount of stuff that would reasonably go in the envelope.
