You're insane.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, JKR.

I don't care what ever anyone else says, HP7 is a work of literature in its own class, superior to Shakespeare, Frost, Hemmingway, etc.

I know.
I read it twice, once in 10th grade, and then I wrote my IB paper on it in 11th.

The books you have to read for IB are ridiculous. I'm taking English and French at A1 HL, and it's unbelievable annoying.

A pet kea bird. ^^ Keas are sooo inquisitive. ^^

Oh and edit "(other organisms living in ant nests)." to "other organisms living commensally in the nests of other organisms" - I originally meant his "Ants" book but looked at the index of sociobiology again and found the word there.

I am a great fan of HP but i really think that Hp7 was not good at all. It disappointed me after the long wait. PS rockermcr I agree with u abt Lord of d Flies I had to force myself 2 read it for a class.

best books, Against the Day - Pynchon and Last Exit to Brooklyn - hubert selby jr.

the first book is absolute madness and the second is a depressing look into the world of guys named harry.

I really liked Lord of the Flies...

LesOs, I have a French tongue-twister to show you.

Oui? Qu'est-ce que c'est?

Il y en a trois:

Donne-lui

Ahhh! The second one is impossible to say (for me, at least)! I actually enjoyed saying the third one, though. =)

Yeah, the third one is fun to say.

der(10 char)

bump this thread up.

East of Eden John Steinbeck
The Things They Carried Tim O'Brien
Ender's Shadow Orson Scott Card
To Kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee

I love these books

I like the big stuff and always have

Moby Dick
One Hundred Years of Solitude
The Iceman Cometh
Beloved

and one small Dickens book I reread often, and still, I think, is his best:

A Christmas Carol

--which, despite the title, is far more existential than Christian. But that's an argument for another time!

What other dickens book have u read.

If you mean big by size, One Hundred Years of Solitude doesn't belong on that list.
