<p>Wow I saw the Police in concert the other night and they were great. But I didn't really know much about them before going to the concert. Killers are great, so is TV on the Radio.</p>

Ha! That's one of the most accurate descriptions of the Smith's sound that I've ever heard...
If anyone is interested in them, I'd suggest starting out with "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" as that is, arguably, their most famous song.</p>

<p>My favorite band is probably the Magnetic Fields, or Neutral Milk Hotel. I feel guilty naming NMH, though, as I haven't had the chance to buy "On Avery Island" yet (either I'm at a music store and broke, or at home with money.... sigh), I only have all of the songs downloaded. Built to Spill is also up there, though!</p>

so freakin amazing</p>

<p>the lyrics are just.....insane. </p>

<p>But its competely in a Northern England accent/slang, so some of the words you have to look up.
Like, the song "A Certain Romance" is supposed to be about "chavs" which I had no clue what they were, but it ends up that they're basically British ghetto-wannabes who often wear reeboks, converse, and sweat pants tucked into long soccer socks. Makes so much more sense, haha. </p>

<p>One of the best things about them is that they're even better live. Check out the YouTube videos of their performances. The ones of the Coachella Festival are the best. </p>

<p>The other best thing is Alex Turner.
