I used to LOVE Netscape when I was younger. Then, it got shoddy. Then, someone picked up the Mozilla engine and made Firefox... such a great work of art it is!

Yes,I think Opera is the best, and the FireFox is the second

I love FF, but I hate the new version. It's very buggy with some common sites, from hotmail to youtube to myspace. The other day Windows Live told me my browser may be incompatible with hotmail, and suggested that I download either IE or FF lol.

safari is really good.

You never get tired of trumpeting Apple propaganda, do you? :D

Besides most people don't need to actually install Safari, seeing as it's probably already been snuck onto your computer as spyware by Apple, if you have iTunes installed. Besides, Safari on Windows looks totally out of place (as does iTunes) and has horribly high resource usage. If you thought Firefox 2 was bad, just wait till you see how much RAM and CPU Safari uses.

;) .

Why is everyone here using Firefox? By far the most disappointing browser I've ever used on my Mac (why use that when I can use Safari natively?), and not too impressed on our other PCs. I guess others find something special in it that I haven't found yet...

What do you find disappointing about Firefox? Do you have any suggestions or recommendations?

Read the current memory benchmarks on Safari and you'll find that it has memory leaks or isn't freeing memory when finished with objects.

Yes, it's links, not Links. Nothing like text-based browsing.

Oh, doesn't count? Vote goes to firefox then.

Firefox on a Nokia phone:

Firefox 3 FTW

Firefox 3!! :D

I'm using Opera right now- I like it more for checking my usual websites like CC and Facebook (speed dial). I use Firefox for StumbleUpon (I have SU for Opera too but it doesn't work as well) and watching movies. If I had to pick one to use forever and ever, I would pick Firefox- it's more compatible and if I really need it, I have the IE tab.

IE usues up more RAM than Firefox on my computer. MUCH more. And I've always always always hated Safari (my high school had it). Not a big Apple fan.
