Favorite...food?

What is your favorite food that is famous for your location (location can be broad as the whole US or as small as your own house)?

For me, if I really narrow down my location, kimchi is the most famous b/c my mom is the kimchi provider for almost all the Asians in my community.

Barbeque is famous in my area, so that’s good. Not like Hamburgers and Hot Dogs like Cook-out BBQ, I mean like southern pork/ribs/brisket.

I don’t believe that my area is well-renowned for it, but I love pizza.

My area’s not particularly well-renowned for anything.

But I do love chocolate. More than anything else. <3 yum

I love crab legs. I guess that’s a shore-location thing(?). I don’t know.

For NYC…I can’t think of anything that stands out. My mom loves the pizza here but it’s kind of “meh” to me. Maybe that’d because I keep ordering Domino’s instead of going local.

You all HAVE to try Ethiopian food (you eat with your hands ^_^). There just happens to be an Ethiopian food place my sister and I go to pretty often. I haven’t tried a lot of dishes, we always just get something called kitfo. It’s like, raw beef and clarified butter and spices and you eat it with this sourdough bread thing called injera. IT’S SO GOOD!!! I can’t go a month without eating it!

Sushi, roast/Peking duck, barbecue.

I miss the food I had when I lived in Beijing. I ate like a pig there. Everything was so good.

And I really miss the soup dumplings.
Supposedly, there’s a place in China Town here that’s renown for their dumplings, I keep meaning to go.
Every other restaurant I’ve gone to in New York has failed miserably.

If anyone gets the chance to come to Hong Kong and eat dim sum, DO IT. And at a good restaurant (like Maxim’s Palace in City Hall which is AMAAAZING). It’s so good. ■■■■. I can’t wait for this Saturday to roll around :D

True dat!!!1 That’s funny cause we in somalia we have our own version of the crepe but t’s called canjeero…

I used to live near this one really good ethio restaurant back in VA (dc area) . hahaahaha

Nothing good in our area lol, but blueberries/raspberries=heaveeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnn :)

And ice cream is god.

I’ve recently started a love affair with nutella.

Nutella = a gift from the hazelnut gods

if u eat too much nutella it can get a bit nauseating, LOL.

trust me I lived on that stuff for a good month (everyday for breakfast b/c there wasn’t anything else good to eat when i was in africa hahaha).

Nutella is great when you almost never eat it.

I love the south Indian masala dosa - it’s like a pancake with spicy potatoes and peas in it.

http://friendseat.com/user_upload_recipe/thumbnail400/39142_34670_friendseat_Masaladosai.jpg

Sooo yummy!

I just found out that dosa is very similar to injera - cool!

Nutella is gross.
I can’t stand the taste; that horrible smell makes me want to gag.

^ Thank you. I can’t seem to find anyone else who hates Nutella.

It’s not bad, I hate peanut butter more
