Look in the tea section in most grocery stores. I buy teabags, and make like any other tea, adding milk.
Coffee
Summer: lemonade with mint (think non alcoholic mojito)
Fall: cider, cold or mulled or hot
Winter: real hot coco or chai
Spring: nothing comes to mind at the moment.
I drink 2 hazelnut (very small amount of syrup) lattes every morning, no matter the season.
In the summer I started making a whole grapefruit/cran-raspberry/lime juice/sometimes a little seltzer mixed with ice slushy thatās really tasty. In the winter sometimes I drink Tazo teas. I drink lots of seltzer, and discovered Spendrift this year. It has some calories (maybe 20 in a can), but itās really good.
I love fruit flavored Pellegrino.
Ginger beer at Aldi is a non-alcoholic soda with a unique spicy flavor. Itās only sold in winter but I buy enough to satisfy my addiction all year round.
We donāt have hot chocolate often, but it is a nice winter treat sometimes. Yesterday hubby grabbed a quart of eggnog at the grocery store. Iām not as ready as he is to plunge into holiday treats but will likely have someā¦. canāt promise it will be non-alcoholic.
Family story: When kids were little, weād go out to brunch whenever kids choir sang at church. When the little lad was in 2nd grade, we went to a nice new southern place. When the waitress took his order, he surprised us by reading the menu and saying, āIāll have the Homemade Hot Chocolateā. Ha, normally we might have discouraged that pricey beverage, but oh my - we had no idea he could read that well and let him have it . I still smile at that story almost every time I have hot chocolate myself
