yeah what'd you guys put for those? did you go for witty or serious?

Bump..

yay i have the same question

I'm going for neither witty nor serious- I'm gonna put the truth!

:P

Is favorite recording = favorite song?

My favorite source of inspiration was a quote...

mine too is a quote..

mine was a person. AN AWESOME PERSON.

What is a recording? Do they mean song??

yeah, a song is fine. some people put albums. i put a song.

For recording, I put Ted Stevens explaining the "internets". That may have been a mistake.

for recording, I put "The West Wing's opening theme music". lol. i think anything that's a sound goes.

i’m just gonna go with a song

should i put the author of my favorite book down?

How wrong would it be to put “Wolfram Alpha” for my favorite website?

Lol! I love Wolfram Alpha. It knows all.

I was accepted SCEA and I put The Circle of Life and the people/world around me. In that entire section I went for a mix of silly and serious because it reflected who I am as a person.

Yeah, there’s no strategizing the odds and ends section. They’re basically making sure that you’re a person. Just be yourself and put down what makes you happiest, not because it’s what Princeton is looking for, but because the things on your list should genuinely entertain or inspire or whatever you.

should we put the authors next to our favorite books?

^I put the author in brackets just like they asked for in the favorite line from book/movie question.

I tried to go for a blend of quirky and serious in these short answers. I think they are supposed to show facets of the candidate’s personality not seen in other sections of the app.

Favorite recording: Master of Puppets (the album)

Inspiration: My parents
