Mine is Violent Pornograph by System of a Down.

Too risky, you think?

Mine is Violent Pornograph by System of a Down.

Too risky, you think?

yeah. I'd say.

u dont wanna take risks here xP
its really not worth it, especially here.

I put Time's Scar by Chrono Cross OST (great violin).

I really don't think it matters.

Put down a country song ;).

yeah a bit to risky lol. its weird how things you dont think are risky suddenly are. like mr. brightside by the killers. i never though it was that risky until someone mentioned that the name of the band is "the killers" mr. brightside isnt my fave song and im just a junior but still, its kinda weird.

I definitely wouldn't suggest putting Violent Pornography as your favorite recording on the app. Besides being a suggestive title and likely to offend whoever reads the app, Violent Pornography is definitely not one of SOAD's better songs (Sugar and Suite Pea are really good though), LOL.

i said The General by Dispatch

mmmmmm...love that song

There was a favorite song? Or is that the same as fav album?

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

The Beatles - A Day in the Life

I even wrote my "inspired awe" essay about it. =P

I put an album, not a song: X&Y by Coldplay. But I have tons of favorites!

I second that robotFOOD....great song

Stairway... duh

I put a piece of classical music, not a song. Is that OK?

(It was "The Firebird" (1919) by Stravinsky...and then I was looking through the guidebooks and found their orchestra had done it. I hope to God they don't think I'm just trying to "suck up.")

The only place I've ever seen in my entire life where kids like classical music is on this website. I can't possibly understand, different worlds I suppose.

I thought it was album. I was tempted to put Nas, Tupac, or Bone Thugz. I felt that it would be taking too much of a risk. Instead I put John Legend: Lifted. He gives you the best of all worlds: somewhat street cred, great music composition, and plus, he isn't radical (he went to UPenn on scholarship BEFORE he was famous, not sure if he graduated though).

cityknight06--Although I agree that most young adults dislike classical music, and those who do tend to be the kind of kids that are on this site, I don't agree for the reason with this trend. Most kids are too afraid to even consider liking classical music. The general consensus about it is that liking it means you are (a)old (b)stuffy or (c)pretentious. Sure, there are people who just can't stand it, the same way I can't stand country. But there is a difference between my dislike of country and many other's dislike of classical, and that is that most people "dislike" classical music because of bias or peer pressure. I don't mind if someone says that they hate classical music...as long as they formed that opinion themselves and actually gave it a chance. Otherwise, they could be missing out on something they could have loved, but were too afraid to admit they actually liked it.

I agree with JTC007. A lot of high school students say they hate classical music, but when they go to performance and see the level of difficulty that it takes to play classical, they are absolutely amazed. So many times I've seen emo's and people that prefer rap go: "Wow that's crazy, how did you play the piano that fast and not mess up..." What this tells us is that people are missing out on a lot of music they could like, just because of pop culture. I love all kinds of music. I'm a classical musician (trumpet and piano) that grew up in the ghetto, so I kind of give the best of both extremes.

oh i put in "Just feel better" by Santana lol hope thats ok
