For question 1 of the app, Would you please tell us about a few of your favorite books, poems, authors, films, plays, pieces of music, musicians, performers, paintings, artists, magazines, or newspapers? Feel free to touch on one, some, or all of the categories listed, or add a category of your own.

I just kinda listed my fav stuff (in an organized manner of course) and why i liked them...is that alright? Or does it have to be in essay format?

oops, actually i meant question 2

I was wondering about this too...I haven't actually written it out yet, but I think mine's going to be in an informal essay style with a short paragraph devoted to each category or person/work I want to talk about, depending on how in depth I'm getting...I'm not sure about whether to include an intro and conclusion to the "essay" though.

"I think mine's going to be in an informal essay style with a short paragraph devoted to each category or person/work I want to talk about"

I think that most serious prospects handle it this way - a little more than a list, but not a full-fledged essay.

thanks! yeah, that's what i was going to do, but i wasn't sure if it was appropriate; good luck w/ ur app! ahh, i have a lot of work to do ugh

Me too...It isn't as bad as last night when I had about five apps to finish, but I still have a lot to do :(

I devoted 3 paragraphs to my favorite author, play and movie respectively. It came out to be around 290 words.

DS wrote about books. He had at least 17 of them. :) He wrote an essay.

I wrote about two to three hundred words on two of my favourite books.

i wrote around 250 on one book, around 100 on another, around 150 on They Might be Giants
and god damn it i forgot to talk about Surely You're Joking

I wrote a poem!
It talked about the Fountainhead, and Through the Looking glass. I had way too much fun with these essays.

I did an interactive quiz! (I think I said already said that on here...)

Eh, I could post mine. It was basically a hodgepodge of three things.

I wrote about QI (BBC 4 show), sci fi books, and trance music....
