Anyone know if there is a fax machine somewhere on campus that I could use?

i haven't been inside it, but my guess would be at the Kinkos on the ground floor of the bookstore.

Oh I totally forgot about that. Thanks.

Many students also have all-in-one fax machines/printers & are pretty good about sharing. My son has a flatbed scanner/printer. We have learned that you can scan & e-mail just about anything, if you have the e-mail address of whom you want to send to.

Leavey Library print center

What's the charge to fax materials from the library print center?

I haven't used it for four years, so my prices will be out of date. I seem to remember something like a dollar for the first page and a quarter per additional. It was reasonable if it wasn't a regular need.

Do you want to send or receive a document? Moreover, if sending a document, do you have the electronic sources?

You might be able to "convert" things within a PC (sorry, I'm Mac illterate). The eFax web site has a free facility (though contorted) to receive the document in your e-mail inbox.

Sending a document can be done through your modem as a FAX. Of course this assumes you have the source electronically and the destination is US. Look on the web and you may be able to initiate a message as email that goes to a local FAX machine (if it's international especially). Again, the key is to start woth the sources electronically.

The last thing you should be doing is printing out a document only to shove it into a scaner (FAX)
