Good night boys, I’ll report back in a few weeks.
I, however, cannot wait 20 days and will implode if I do not figure out every single question I marked wrong.
@Anonymous261 Are you talking about the problem with the shaded triangle and we have to find out what fraction of the object is the shaded triangle? I got 1/8
What were the other answer choices for the fishing stats one? I know insufficiently discriminating was one option
@CanisMajor it had something to do with a circle or pie chart
@CanisMajor @aabraham I chose conjecture
@aabraham was there something w/exhaustive?
jk… but there was a choice that was like unnecessarily something
It sucks that we can’t order QAS for this test. What’s the other one? SAS? Should I even order it?
Guys, some of the people are saying that the answer to the pie chart was 30% (brown candy). Was the answer supposed to be as a percent or as a fraction? I put 3/10
@HopkinsHopeful what are QAS/SAS?
and @aabraham I think it’s 3/10 or .3 because there isn’t an option to fill in a percentage
@anonymous261 OH i remember that question but i forget what i put down.
@aabraham exhaustive was the error in the sentence
@aabraham the question did 32nd with what percent but I think you should be good since they are equivalent
still in awe that three wrong answers in math is <700…
is -3 in math actually less than a 700…
according to the 2013 test takers… yes. but it just seems so excessive…
I just don’t know if they wanted us to put 30 or 3/10 …I mean 3/10 percent is obviously wrong but do you think they would consider it to be the same?
@aabraham was the brown candy problem a free response or multiple choice?
Someone posted the curve somewhere. I think it was 3 wrong and 1 omit is below a 700. I mean, math was fairly easy, just some tricky questions. The only hard problem was the last question in the 20 question section. I made a lot of stupid mistakes though.
@CanisMajor free respone
@jenniferrrrrrr I just read somewhere else that -3 on Math was a 740 for this test
@aabraham If they wanted a percentage they probably would’ve asked in the question
@CanisMajor it was a grid in
