@flightzealot but that link didn’t include the december 2013 curve. So I think it might actually be that brutal
@Anonymous261 True, however, by just looking at the general trend, nothing comes close to being as brutal as the December one. Even if its the same test, who knows? It might be different.
Anyone here going to take the April ACT?
@PsychicPanda2 if the collegeboard found out…would we have a retest?
@Anonymous261 Nope, they probally don’t care man. I honestly believe that the Collegeboard is scum, I called them 3 weeks to see if I could cancel the retest and they told me I couldn’t… got some foreign guy on the phone who had no idea what he was talking about. When I realised that and called back it was one week away and I couldn’t cancel. Took the test and got wrecked, so I canceled my score at the test center. I honestly believe the Collegeboard is a testiment to the corruption and idiocracy of college admission.
@PsychicPanda2 I think Collegeboard is just doing this for the money. Lol
@Anonymous261, guranteed man, I’m just glad I cancelled because 1. The collegeboard is garbage, and 2. The curve for the test was probally going to be garbage as well. I hope you do well, may the odds be in your favour.
What was the answer to the circle question with the unshaded and shaded portions?
wow it absolutely sucks to know that i consistently get 2 or 3 wrong in each practice section, and still get 2200s ish. now if i do the same ill get a super bad score ugh
Do you have evidence or a link for this? Once again, people keep saying it, but for years I’ve been looking for some evidence and have never seen any (and I teach in Asia, so I’ve been very attentive to int’l curves since '02).
@flightzealot I think if anything the 5/13 math would be the closest and 1/10 cr would the closest to the actual curve
I’m just going to assume the worst and believe that the curve will be reused :^(
@michellejnb99 that one was the experimental one
You do realize that the december 2013 international SAT is NOT the same as the one we took, read the thread and you can see the questions are very different. The december 2013 US SAT is the same as the one we took and they had the exact same curve as the original.
Why waste this thread arugingwith each other about the curve? “You get what you get and you don’t get upset.” Lets keep discussing the test questions so we can unmask our raw scores a little!
I already know I got -1 in Math, I don’t care about anything else.
@amdcous Um ‘you do realize’ that we’ve already established that the October 2014 international was the one we took. We said this several times in the thread. We already know it’s the December 2013 US. Kay.
I agree there’s no point in arguing we’ll just have to wait > ~ < 17 more days
by any chance when you guys say -3 = 690 or so, do you mean -3 per section, or -3 for the entire (for example) math catergory? because honestly its so hard to get above a 1500 if youre only allowed to get -3 to get a 690
-3 for the entire category
I feel like the curve is going to be that bad because honestly, this test felt really easy to me and a few of my friends.
