im still checking everyday they usually release makeup scores earlier 。• ᴗ •。
@sosoyumii it is logical to assume that technically the CB SHOULD release the eastern score earlier because usually it takes 19 days for an overall SAT score to be released(including 50 states) but we’re only including the eastern states, so technically I’m not sure why they’re wavering to release the scores since less people did take the sat :((((((
I think what you really need to do is go back and see what kind of questions that you repeatedly get wrong and try to see a pattern between the question and the right answer. Try to find a technique that works and make sure you are pacing yourself effectively. I know its a pain to do it, but you should go back and check what the correct answer was to every question you got wrong and try to see why you got it wrong. For the writing section, make up whatever information you want for the essay, they do not check for accuracy. As for the multiple choice writing questions, make sure you are aware of the most common grammar concepts that are tested. For example, “Every student in the class failed their test” is WRONG. And if you don’t know that, you will get questions wrong. For math, make sure you do the problems that you know how to do first. Then, go back and do the problems that are harder. I cant really help you on reading because I suck at CR but my tutor said that you should not read the whole passage, read only 5 lines above and 5 lines below the line reference. If the question does not have a line reference, leave it to the end and see if you can answer it based on what you have already read. Good luck!
Not yet available:T
although i wish it wasnt, the wait for scores has seriously been killing me since I got home from taking the test. I’m constantly refreshing the MySAT page day in and day out despite knowing rationally that it won’t come until March 11 or whatever. just wish I could finally see the results of my effort and then be able to forget about it and move on
SAME @joewantstoknow
it sucks
I agree, every morning I check the SAT score page just to see if for some miracle the scores came out early even though I know that they will not come out until Friday. So many people don’t care but they don’t realize that these scores are one of the most important factors of getting into college.
The wait is even more gruesome for those of us who are getting scores back on the 18th.
im just anxious because im a senior and schools need my score :’(
@aabbccmoneysing I figured the 18th scores are for those who took it on the 27th so the wait would be the same length? I could be wrong
When CB reuses tests, do they reuse the curve as well? Bc I heard that the curve was really harsh
I think they will reuse the curve. The reading and math curves are supposed to be harsh, but the writing curve is supposed to be nice.
Ive already given up on my goal of getting a 2300 ( I already know I made at least 2 dumb mistakes on the math which i usually get an 800 on and the only way to make up for that would be to get an 800 in CR which I usually get low 700’s on) but I really hope I can still get a 2200. My parents told me they would buy me a new laptop if I broke 2200 and it’d be really disappointing not to especially after having taken so many practice tests.
@aabraham maybe if you tell your parents it’s the curve’s fault you’ll still get the laptop
he probably cares more about the score than the laptop lol.
@joewantstoknow Haha, they’re not the type to accept excuses. They explicitly said that if I get even a 2190 they won’t buy it.
I was really hoping for a 2100 but the CR was a catastrophe and writing was not as good as I would have hoped so we will see. The wait is just killing me because this is my last SAT and I just want to know. The College Board has no reason to not release the scores earlier because only students on the East Coast took it on the 20th.
@johnc2017 im just hoping for a 1950 or so
Every day since the test I have checked the College Board Website knowing that I would see nothing. I’m a Sophomore, so my excuse for being so obsessive is that I need to get my score sent off for my application to my state’s school of science and math. It’s killing me wondering about it though.
